What Is 9-1-1: Lone Star About?

A New York firefighter relocates to Austin, Texas with his son, where he works to save people’s lives while trying to solve his own personal problems.

From 9-1-1 co-creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear, 9-1-1: Lone Star follows a sophisticated New York firefighter who, along with his son, relocates from Manhattan to Austin, Texas. He must try to balance the duties of saving those who are at their most vulnerable and solving the problems in his own life. Series star Rob Lowe serves as co-executive producer.

Nearly 20 years ago, Owen Strand was the lone survivor of his Manhattan firehouse on 9/11, and in the wake of the attack, was left with the unenviable task of rebuilding the station. After a similar tragedy strikes a firehouse in Austin, Texas, Owen — along with his troubled firefighter son, T.K. — takes his progressive philosophies of life and firefighting down to the Lone Star State to help them start anew. On the surface, Owen is all about big-city style and swagger, but underneath, he struggles with a secret he hides from the world — one that could very well end his life.

9-1-1: Lone Star Season 2 release date is announced by FOX.
9-1-1: Lone Star Season 2 Premiere Date — ✔️ January 18, 2021
The second season of ‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ was estimated to come out in January 2021, if we go by the schedule of the last season. However, the ongoing global pandemic may delay the entire process, like the way it has postponed many other shows. Now it has become difficult to predict the release date as we don’t even know when the world will come back to a stable state. The first season of the show was ordered in May 2019 by FOX, and began to air on FOX on January 19, 2020, taking ten episodes in hand, and concluded on March 9, 2020. Each episode has a runtime of 50 minutes approximately.
